On July 1, Liz Lorang,
Research Assistant Professor, started in the new position of Digital Humanities
Projects Librarian. The position entails
working with other librarians to identify students working on digital research
projects, helping students develop their digital scholarship, teaching in the
Digital Humanities Graduate Certificate program, and continuing as Senior
Associate Editor on the Walt Whitman Archive.
Lorang says the
responsibilities involve consulting and connecting with faculty and students.
She is excited to work directly with graduate and undergraduate students to
help them showcase the great work they are producing. In the spring she expects to teach the Internship
course for the graduate certificate program.
Lorang has a twitter feed and you can follow her: @bettylorang
