Lower Level: Quiet and Understated

If you like to study in quiet and prefer an area that is not used by many, the Lower Level of Love South might be the right study spot for you! There is minimal seating both in the stacks and in the hallways, as few people study in the lower level. Take the elevator or locate the doors to the lower level staircase to find your way to this spot.

Genealogy over Lunch: How to Put Together a Family Member Timeline

What information and events should you include in a family member time line? This month we will discuss this question and will provide some examples of family member time lines on Thursday, July 16 from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. We will meet in Love Library Room 318 (Dean’s Conference Room). Please join the discussion and feel free to bring your lunch.

Card Sort Activity Signup Information

We are looking for UNL students (5 undergraduate and 5 graduate) willing to take part in a card sorting activity to share input on the organization of UNL Libraries webpages.

1.  Must be able to attend the activity on campus, in Love Library.
2. Allow for approximately 1 hour to complete the activity.
3. Each participant will receive a $20 University Bookstore gift card. (go.unl.edu/ubookstore)
4. Must be willing to sign up a permission slip allowing us to videotape you during the activity.

UPDATE: Installing new lights in the hallway linking the lower levels of Love Library South and Love Library North has become a more involved project than first anticipated. The hallway will be closed until 5 pm on July 8. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your patience.

Quiet Reading Room: Silent and Focused

If you need it to be dead silent when you study and enjoy artwork, our quiet reading room might be the study spot for you! There are multiple tables to sit at. Right now, this room is home to The Lentz Collection, a collection celebrating Asian cultures and artwork. Located in room 218 on the 2^nd floor of Love South.
