Students Design Drawdels for Love North Learning Commons

Come check out the sixteen different drawdels (drawing + models) posted on the wall of 2nd floor Love South.  These drawdels, designed by teams of Architecture and Construction management students, represent sustainable building strategies made for the upcoming Love North Learning Commons.

Each team included in their design:
·         HVAC (heating, ventilating and air conditioning) and plumbing systems that minimize energy and water consumption of the building.
·         Building modifications that minimize energy consumption and contribute to the quality of the indoor environment.
·         Indoor Air Quality recommendations and modifications that provide a healthy and productive work environment.
·         HVAC and plumbing systems that comply to the Lincoln City Plumbing Code, the Lincoln City Mechanical Code, all regulations and statutes of the State of Nebraska, Department of Health and Human Services and with the University of Nebraska Design Guidelines.

Come take a look and see what could be a possibility for the Love North Learning Commons in the future.

The drawdels will be up until February 14, 2014.
